جدير بالذكر أن ما يسمى بجماعة أمناء بناء الهيكل في إسرائيل أعربت أكثر من مرة عن توجسها الشديد من انتخاب الرئيس محمد مرسي رئيسًا لمصر، معتبرة أن انتخابه من الممكن أن يعيق إسرائيل عما أسمته بممارسة حقها في إحياء هذا الهيكل، ويبدو أن الجماعة بدأت في شن الحرب النفسية ضد الرئيس ومصر من الآن.
